Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hostliq DevOps AI Platform (the "Service"), operated by Hostliq LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

The Service provides AI-assisted DevOps tooling, including a log analyzer, infrastructure-as-code generator, CI/CD pipeline builder, and a conversational assistant.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, authentication, or other security controls.
  • Submit content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Use the Service to generate content intended to attack, exploit, or compromise systems you do not own or have authorization to test.

4. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer

The log analyses, Terraform/infrastructure code, CI/CD pipeline definitions, and chat responses produced by the Service are generated by third-party large language models. They are provided for informational and productivity purposes only, on an "as-is" basis, without warranty of any kind — including as to accuracy, completeness, security, or fitness for a particular purpose.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any AI-generated output — including infrastructure code and CI/CD configuration — before applying it to any production, staging, or otherwise live environment. We are not liable for any loss, outage, security incident, or cost arising from deploying AI-generated output without independent review.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers — including OpenAI (and, where configured, Anthropic and Google OAuth) — to deliver its AI features and sign-in options. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant third party's own terms.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service. We retain all rights to the Service itself, including its software, design, and branding.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service, or request deletion of your account, at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hostliq LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from AI-generated output.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
